Account Management Services
Link2ICT offers an Account Management support service to all customers.
You may require further advice and guidance around your ICT provision and at Link2ICT, we want to ensure that you are able to access information as efficiently as possible. Your Account Manager will provide a dedicated service to support your ICT needs and will happily discuss and advise on all elements of the Link2ICT Service, which could include direct school visits or presenting at Consortium and/or School Governor meetings upon request.
Link2ICT has a clear understanding of what schools want and need, and through the use of our Account Management team, we are always on hand to discuss services and developments that may have an impact on schools and current agendas. This two-way exchange is the primary method by which Link2ICT ensures service delivery is of a high quality and truly focused on schools’ needs.
Hi, I'm Avtar, Link2ICT Account Manager covering the Birmingham area providing professional advice, guidance and support to schools for their varying ICT needs.
My role involves understanding school needs and sourcing best fit solutions for the successful delivery of these requirements. Previously, I have been a Business and Finance Manager and a Project Manager for the Aston Pride Computers in The Home (CiTH) project valuing £3m. I enjoy supporting schools and building trusted relationships with them and always strive towards making a real difference and achieving continuous school improvement.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing sports, including football, cricket and table tennis. I relax by spending valuable time with my wife and teenage children. Interesting or not, I once played at Villa Park and have completed a parachute jump for charity from 2000 feet...never again!

Within my role as Account Manager for Link2ICT, I work closely with schools in Staffordshire and our national customers.
I very much enjoy working to improve learning outcomes through the use of ICT. Having been in the education sector for the past ten years, I’ve built a strong understanding of school needs and work on a consultative basis to ensure best possible outcomes are achieved.
I have a strong technical background and keep abreast of the latest technology and software, helping to drive improvements; my specialities include advising on the following, server architecture, safeguarding solutions, wireless and mobile technology.
Work aside, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three children, various sporting activities and socialising with friends.

As a Birmingham Account Manager, I work with schools in the city, advising on services provided by Link2ICT and provide further support around their ICT provision, ensuring they access the best possible solutions.
I started in Link2ICT as a technician, I then went on to manage the Technician team before moving into account management. I really like my role as it gives me the opportunity to meet different people and seeing how schools are moving forward with IT, using technology to improve teaching and learning.
Outside of work, I like football, snooker and regularly play table tennis. I also enjoy watching films, listening to Indian music and spending time with my grandchildren.
