Progresso SSRS - Report Builder Training Level 3 – Cascading Parameters
This training course will continue to build on the skills gained from the Level 1 & 2 training courses, focusing in particular on how to add cascading parameters to reports. This course is essential to further your knowledge in SSRS.
Course outcomes – upon completing this one day training course you will be able to:
Create cascading parameters (using reports created as part of the level 2 training course) including:
Deal with reports which contain static data
Deal with reports which contain historic data
Add variable titles in order to display parameter details.
Delegates must meet the following pre-requisites:
Have attended the core Progresso courses
Have experience with database structures e.g. Microsoft Access
Have experience with the use of expressions and functions (i.e. Left, Right, Format, Lookup, IIF) within Facility reports and/or Excel.
Attended the SSRS Level 1& 2 training course and must be able to complete all elements of this course unassisted including:
Create datasets and apply filters
Create basic list reports
Work with row groups to group, sort, apply page breaks etc. to a report
Add parameters to a report
Please Note: This course is delivered on the basis that all delegates have experience with the skills taught during Level 1& 2. There are strong technical elements to this course.
