Link2ICT are working in partnership with our external consultants to deliver this updated Desktop 10 course.   This two day course will introduce delegates to Windows 10.  Delegates will learn how to examine, configure, install, share files, secure files, set up remote access, create virtual machines in Hyper-V, and undertake disaster recovery. This course will provide valuable hands on experience of using Windows 10.

 

  

Course Aims and Objectives:

Delegates will learn how to:

  • Plan and perform a clean installation of Windows 10
  • Examine how to upgrade existing operating systems
  • Configure disks, partitions, volumes, and device drivers in a Windows 10 system
  • Install, configure, and maintain wireless network connections
  • Secure network connections, share, secure files and folders
  • Implement tools and technologies that secure desktops and much more

Course Outcomes:

At the end of the session delegates will have:

  • An introduction to Windows 10, installing Windows 10 and accessing the Windows Store
  • Experience of Windows 10 Productivity Applications and Recovery Tools
  • Installed/Configured Device Drivers
  • Experience of Microsoft Management Console (MMC)
  • Covered User and Group Management
  • Gained experience of Managing Disks and much more
