SIMS End of Year Procedures Seminar - Secondary and Secondary Special School
We are pleased to officially invite representatives from your school to attend our annual SIMS Secondary End of Year (EOY) Seminar.
Secondary and Special School SIMS End of Year Seminar is aimed at both your school’s SIMS Manager and Timetabler.
Attending this seminar will enable all delegates to fully understand the SIMS EOY Procedures, which must be performed in school prior to the beginning of the new academic year.
Delegates will gain knowledge in the major functions of the EOY process and will have the opportunity to ask questions from our dedicated and accredited MIS specialists.
Electronic versions of the SIMS EOY documentation will be made available shortly after Spring Bank Holiday (Whitsun) half term.
Two delegate places are included free of charge as part of your school’s MIS Support Subscription and additional spaces can be made available at £60 per person.
Outline: All Secondary Schools (using Nova-T6) are invited to attend this seminar expected to last approximately 1.5 hours. There will be no charge for this seminar. Places are limited to no more than two members of staff from each school and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Description: This seminar will cover:
- Creating the new academic year 2018/19 in SIMS.
- Transfering your 2018/19 school timetable from Nova-T6 to SIMS.
- Assigning all students to their academic classes in SIMS.
- Producing all management information required in September for the start of the new school academic year.
Outcome: This seminar will enable you to:
- Successfully complete the End of Year Process in SIMS.
- Submit the live 2018/19 Timetable from Nova-T6 to SIMS.
- Assign all students to their correct 2018/19 academic classes ready for the start of term in September.
Audience: This seminar is suitable for Secondary School Data Managers; Secondary School Timetablers & Secondary School MIS Support Staff

Venue: Training Room 9, Fort Dunlop, Fort Parkway, Birmingham B24 9FD (maximum 16 places) (NB There is a parking charge of £2 for up to 4 hours)
Cost: Two delegate places are included free of charge as part of your school’s MIS Support Subscription and are booked on a first come, first served basis - additional spaces can be made available at £60 per person. (Non-subscribing schools £60 per person).
