SIMS Primary School Census Return

 

 

 

PLEASE NOTE !  Priority will be given to newly migrated SIMS schools who have NOT YET completed a School Census using SIMS.

This half day workshop provides an excellent opportunity to run final checks on your data (following the Link2ICT School Census guidance notes). The workshop will provide an opportunity to utilise the support and knowledge of Link2ICT’s specialist trainers 

 

Workshop outcomes - upon completing this workshop you will be able to:

Attempt a dry run of your School’s Census Return

Link2ICT will assist with resolving any errors/queries that the Census may produce using guidance from the Link2ICT and DFE notes.

 

IMPORTANT Pre-requisites:

You will need the Link2ICT SIMS School Census notes (download from Link2ICT Knowledge Base at https://link2ict.service-now.com)

If you are a HOSTED SIMS School : Please bring your Login Credentials.

If you are a NON HOSTED SIMS School: Please ensure that your SIMS MIS (Management Information System) is upgraded to the latest build - 7.174 and any file sets have been installed

Please ensure that NetSupport is installed on your SIMS workstation at school.

Please bring the  IP address of your SIMS workstation and arrange with someone in school to accept your connection.

You will need exclusive rights to your workstation for the duration of the workshop.

During the workshop we will need to remote connect to your computer in school from the Link2ICT Training Room.

For this reason, the workshop is ONLY available to schools who subscribe to Link2ICT and BGFL Connectivity.

Data Managers

 

Cost: Free or £179 (per person for non-subscribing schools)

Venue: The Training Venue is Link2ICT,  5th Floor, Fort Dunlop, Fort Parkway, Erdington B24 9FD.
