Go Google – Making the most of G Suite in your school
This half day G Suite course can help you work more flexibly, by accessing your school resources online and having the ability to collaborate securely in real time on documents with school staff. There are huge benefits in moving school documentation into the cloud, but it is important to ensure security, privacy and settings are understood and set appropriately. This course will help you understand this and will help ensure compliance with principle 6 of GDPR – having appropriate organisational and technical measures to ensure data is processed securely.
Schools continuously handle data but by changing the processes by which this happens could help to eliminate risks.
This session offers a ‘hands on’ experience which will enable you to explore the G Suite.
This course will help you understand the benefits of securely accessing school documents online securely, using online calendars, announcements and the ability to collaborate on documents in real time with your colleagues.
The course is aimed at senior leaders, School DPOs, office staff and teaching staff.
Basic computer skills are expected. Please bring your G Suite login details.
